The latest version of this comprehensive multi-vitamin has been renamed Synergy Once Daily® (previously Synergy Once A Day) and has also been improved. The new Version 3 delivers several other powerful antioxidants, including green tea extract, resveratrol and red wine extract. Synergy Once Daily provides 10 mg of resveratrol, which is more resveratrol than most bottles of red wine contain. In fact, the combination of resveratrol, grape seed extract and red wine extract may offer many of the health benefits of red wine.

Also, the amount of vitamin D3 has been almost tripled to 2,000 IU. The NSI Scientific Advisors consider this new dosage to be within the optimal range for promoting healthy bones and healthy cell division. Furthermore, the amount of vitamin K has been doubled, which may also help promote healthy bones. Even with today’s technology, it is virtually impossible to compress every essential nutrient into one easily swallowed daily pill, especially calcium and magnesium. Epidemiologic studies report that people who consume foods with higher amounts of a powerful bioflavonoid called quercetin have an increased ability for healthy cell division within their bodies. The average intake of quercetin from food is 18 mg, whereas Synergy Once Daily provides 50 mg of quercetin.

A clinical study also reported that daily consumption of 200 mcg of selenium (as selenomethionine) reduced by 65% the incidence of prostate abnormal cells in men who initially had normal PSA levels. Synergy Once Daily has the same beneficial dosage (200 mcg) of selenium in the same optimal form (as selenomethionine).
