Is currently in private practice in neurology with Essex Neurological Associates
and is Section Chief of Neurology at St. Barnabas Hospital, a 600-bed hospital
in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Josephs served his neurology residency at Mt.
Sinai Hospital in New York, where he also served as Chief Resident in Neurology.
In addition, he has served as the Chairman of the Ethics Committee of Beth
Israel Hospital. Dr. Josephs is board certified in Internal Medicine and
Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Essex County
Medical Society, and Alpha Omega Honor Medical Society.
Received his residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,
UCLA, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He is American Board
Certified in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and Allergy & Immunology. He
has published 39 original research articles, in addition to letters and chapters
in books, which include publications in Nature and Lancet. Dr. Ilfeld now
practices internal medicine and designs multi-vitamin formulas and clinical
trials for Nutraceutical Sciences Institute (NSI).
Is currently in private practice in Galion, Ohio specializing in general
orthopedics, with a sub-specialty in arthroscopy, arthritis and nutrition. Dr.
Pabst has been board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery since
1981. He serves on the Ohio State Medical Association, American Academy of
Orthopedic Surgeons, the Ohio Orthopedic Society, and the American Medical
Association, and was the president of the Crawford County Medical Society in
1982. Dr. Pabst joined the Board of Directors on April 15, 1999.
Has just retired from private practice to devote all of his time to writing and
lecturing on health and relationships. Dr. Schaller served three years in Paris,
France at the American Hospital as the physician for the Americans assigned to
the "Supreme Headquarters of the Allied Powers in Europe" (SHAPE), and was
awarded the Army Commendation Medal. He has been certified in his specialty of
OB-GYN since 1968. In 1978, he was a member of the first group in his specialty
to voluntarily submit to and pass a recertification process.
Has now relocated and is working at the Naples Preventive Medicine Center in
Naples, Florida. He has been published in four languages and has over 30
academic writings, appearing in such publications as the American Journal of
Psychiatry, AMA News, and the Journal of the American Medical Association. Dr.
Schaller has spoken on 80 national radio shows and is a member of many medical
organizations, including the American Psychiatric Association and the American
Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Joined GoNSI in November 2000. He practiced internal medicine and geriatrics,
serving as the medical director of a long-term, acute-care hospital and of
several nursing facilities. Dr. Schwalben has also served as the marketing
director of a multi-specialty medical practice and as the medical director of
Scimark, a medical marketing company. He has been a diplomate of the American
Board of Internal Medicine since 1989.
Is currently the Medical Director of The Arthritis Center in Springfield,
Illinois and Asst. Professor and Chief of the Division of Rheumatology/
Immunology at Southern Illinois University. He has been board certified in
internal medicine and rheumatology since 1978, and has been involved in over 45
research grants from pharmaceutical and governmental sources, including Searle,
Merck and Ortho-McNeil. He has written ten articles, some of which are published
in the Journal of Rheumatology, Annals of Internal Medicine and Contemporary
Orthopaedics. He is a member of several professional societies, including the
American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
Is currently on the active medical staff of High Point Regional Health System,
in High Point, North Carolina. Dr. Walker specializes in gastroenterology,
hepatology, and internal medicine, and is a diplomate of the National Board of
Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American
Board of Internal Medicine Subspecialty: Gastroenterology. He is a member of
such associations as the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the
American College of Gastroenterology. Several of his articles have been
published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology and Gastroenterology. He
has twice been named by his peers as one of "The Best Doctors in America."
